    This podcast presentation discusses the effects of trauma on addiction, and explains how individuals with addictive disorders who have repetitive and chronic relapses often have an under-diagnosed history of trauma. A comprehensive approach to working with trauma and addiction is also discussed.

She’s appeared on Local and National Television Programs, speaking about the impact of Childhood Trauma/Abuse and Addiction. Gina has guested on several talk radio programs, and moderated programs on the internet, presented at the National Conferences, given hundreds of lectures. Co-founded Harmony Heals Inc., acting as the Clinical Director. Gina holds consulting positions for treatment and residential recovery programs. Specialties include: E.M.D.R., Certified Hypnotherapist, Director of Psychodrama, Inner Child Work, and P.I.T. She enjoys a reputation for providing excellent clinical care. As a speaker and practitioner, she is known for being direct, passionate, humorous, and loving. She is a proud mother of two children whom she considers her greatest accomplishment and joy.
