    Those going through gender transition are faced with innumerable moments of change and processing, some of which can carry deep grief and a sense of loss. This course provides an overview of the various responses to the potential ambiguous loss experienced during a gender transition (medical, social, legal) by those who undergo a gender transition and their loved ones. This course discusses the different meaning-making frameworks and conceptualizations which impact one’s response to gender transition, as well as their applicability in the therapy room.
