• COURSE DESCRIPTION

    This on-demand podcast CE course explores the complex dynamics faced by adult children of parents or caregivers with Borderline Personality Disorder. Drawing on expert insights from clinical psychologist Dr. Daniel Lobel, the conversation outlines the unique challenges these individuals face, such as emotional dysregulation, guilt, self-doubt, and relationship instability. The course provides therapeutic frameworks for understanding BPD’s impact on family systems, tools for emotional reprocessing, and boundary-setting strategies.

    Upon completing this course, participants will be able to: Identify and briefly describe three core symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and their implications for family dynamics; List two or more common psychological impacts experienced by adult children of parents or caregivers with BPD; Describe two effective boundary-setting strategies for clients maintaining relationships with parents who exhibit BPD traits

  • HOW TO TAKE THIS COURSE

    In order to receive a certificate of completion reflecting the associated CE credit hour, you must:

    #3: Achieve a passing grade on the post-presentation test (the test has up to ten questions and you must earn a score of at least 80%; users can re-test up to three times. Psychologists who are seeking CE credit may not be awarded credit if they attempt to pass the post-test more than three times.)
