  • Course Description

If you are like many clinicians, you have heard about Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), but are not quite sure what it is. EMDR has been shown to be effective with a number of different clinical diagnoses, and is a treatment option alternative to medications or other behavioral health treatment modalities. This course, which is a conversation between an EMDR therapist and a colleague, is designed to provide an overview of EMDR, with the goal of providing foundational knowledge to assist clinicians in understanding the model so that they feel more confident describing it to clients/patients who may be appropriate candidates for EMDR treatment.
